Located at the start and finish of the Tour du Mont-Blanc (TMB) on the southern slopes of the Chamonix Valley, the Gite Les Méandres (formerly Tupilak) offers sunny terraces with breathtaking views of the Mont-Blanc massif.

This authentic 18th-century farmhouse was completely renovated in 2009 and can accommodate 24 people, divided into spacious bedrooms for 2 to 6 people. The cottage has two dining rooms and four comfortable bathrooms.

Its operation is completely flexible. You can use the cottage's kitchen to cook your own meals or enjoy the meals offered by the cottage (dinner: €17, breakfast: €9).

From the center of Les Houches village, head towards the Les Houches SNCF (train) station. Once there, take the Coupeau road on the right. The cottage is located at number 1474, below the Christ the King statue that protects the Chamonix valley (1.5 km from the center of Les Houches. 15 minutes on foot from the station, or 10 minutes on foot via the shortcuts).

The owner, a climbing and canyoning instructor, and mountain guide, can provide information on mountain conditions, all the routes, and the main sites in the Chamonix Valley and surrounding areas (Aiguille du Midi, Mer de Glace, Brévent, Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve, etc.).
