Former alpine farm renovated in the 1990s. Located in the mid-mountains, very quiet. Panoramic terrace with views of Mont Joly, the Bionnassay Glacier, and the Dôme du Gouter. Stays for several days are possible. Day hikes are available: Tour of Mont Vorrasset, Col de Tricot, La Charme, Nid d'Aigle, Tête Rousse, and the ascent to Mont Blanc via the royal route.
Capacity: 22 people. Accommodation in rooms for 2, 4, and 6 people. Shared bathrooms with showers.

Practical information

Car access: From Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, head towards Les Contamines. In Bionnay, follow signs for Bionnassay. Drive up to the Crozat car park.
Regulated 4x4 access in July and August (prohibited from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), except for residents.
Rail access: Saint-Gervais-le-Fayet train station, then take the Mont-Blanc tramway - Col de Voza stop and a 10-minute walk downhill towards Bionnassay.
Pedestrian access: From Les Houches, a 2-hour climb towards Col de Voza, then a 10-minute descent towards Bionnassay.
From Miage: via Col de Tricot, the Tricot footbridge, Bellevue, Col de Voza and towards Bionnassay or
Le Champel, La Pierre, Le Crozat and towards Col de Voza.

The Refuge du Fioux does not have a kitchenette.
For hygiene reasons, a sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner is mandatory.
(Disposable sleeping bag liners are available for sale at the refuge for €3.00.)
You can have your laundry machine washed (€4.00).
Arrival time between 3:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
Dinner is served at 7:00 PM and breakfast is served from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM.
Contactless payments are not possible.
Picnics must be ordered no later than the day before your stay.
If you have a special diet (vegetarian, particular allergy), please let us know on the day of your reservation.
Bivouacking is no longer permitted at the Refuge du Fioux.
On the day of your departure, the refuge must be vacated no later than 8:15 AM.
