Traditional mountain chalet dating from the 1800's. It was a mountain hotel until 1976 when it was transformed into a refuge after the development of the Tour du Mont Blanc.
Accommodation is provided in small cosy dormitories with 6 to 9 beds with duvets. There are shared bathrooms and showers (hot water)
At lunchtime, you can eat on a beautiful shaded terrace decorated with flowers. Fixed and a la carte menu available.
Drinks and snacks (savoury and sweet) are available all day long.

Practical information

62 euros (night, diner and breakfast)

In Contamines Montjoie, 1h30 walk from the center and 45 minutes walk from Notre Dame de la Gorge car park.
Restricted 4x4 access.

Dinner is served at 7:00pm and breakfast from 6:30am
If you have a special diet (vegetarian, allergies), please let us know when you make your reservation.

Picnics must be ordered in advance. At the latest before 6pm on the day of your arrival.

Be carefull : we don't accept the credit card
We generate our own electricity (hydro electric and solar panels). We therefore have a limited amount of electricity available. That's why we ask our clients to be careful with their use of electrical equipment. Mobile phones and batteries can be charged in moderation. Sorry ladies, hairdryers aren't welcome here!
